Our Story

UniquelyMe was founded in 2021 by Kaley Buchanan (Swim), Rebecca Rossett (Soccer), and Sarah Fuller (Soccer). Having experienced our own struggles with body image, we wanted to create a platform to empower female athletes to love their bodies. UniquelyMe is a community of current and former female athletes that provides a space for them to find their voice and find confidence in being themselves. We wanted to create this community as a digital space to go to and be inspired and supported. We are pushing to change the narrative of body image and hope to help this community learn to love themselves and understand that every athlete's body looks a little different, and everyone’s journey is not the same. Our stories will help inspire the next generation to love their unique self just the way they are.
